This is a cute coffee shop that is all American food. It is a small restaurant compared to others that has about 4-5 tables inside along with bar top that wraps around the kitchen. I ordered chicken fried steak with gravy and eggs potatoes. I liked it a lot it tasted like an all American breakfast meal. The staff and service were great. I love their coffee and always refilling it. The pricing was fair overall. I would recommend. They do not have a bathroom for customers.

This is one of the few classic diners left... Very fitting for Alamo. I don't understand some of the reviews written below, they must have a bone to pick or just be "those" type of people... The club sandwich was out of this world, he literally cooked the bacon after I ordered the sandwich and preparedeach piece perfectly. The fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce are out of this world. I can't wait to try all their breakfast food. If you want to entertain clients, you should probably go across the street to the peasant courtyard if you want great food quickly on the lunch break and you wanna bring half of it home for dinner later, Alamo café is your spot. Also, the service was amazing.
Hi I just wanted to write a review because this place has brought joy to all my family over the years. Me and my family have been coming to alamo cafe for over 40 years and the experience is amazing. It helps to bring families together and to chat while eating my childhood favorite restaurant. I hope you enjoy this review because I know that this is the best breakfast place in all of northern california.
I love this place. Cozy American diner - complete with sit down counter and stools. Great service - waitstaff friendly, smiling, and attentive to keeping coffee topped off. Good food - I usually get the country fried steak smothered in gravy. I love how a small pancake is a standard option for your breakfast side, rather than an add on. Solid breakfast spot. Parking can be tricky, but be patient and a spot always opens up.

Eddie, a very friendly and attentive waiter, recommended the blue cheese hamburger. Please give him a raise. The hamburger & fries were delicious but the buns need to be replace because it's was soggy by the time I ate eat. Also, the floor needs to be mopped because it was very slippery. Other than that I was a happy camper eating at this local restaurant. I was happy and content.
Food was fun and massive portions They actually do know how to make an omelette... it was done perfect not dry and overcooked The stuffings in the omelette hit the spot and potatoes were yummy I definitely over ate Service was amazing .... Attentive and thoughtful Highly recommend it if you are hungry
